Our Story
The name Xtrim Hair and Beauty (XHB) was adapted in April 2021 as a renewal of a 15 year old Xtrim Barbers. XTrim Barbers was established in 2006 until April 2021 when the business was redesigned to include female hairdressing and other beauty services.
Branching from a big barbering family called Shapes Barbers in south London, Nana K Owusu-Sekyere relocated to Milton Keynes in 2004 and established his own barbershop in 2006.
Training Tomorrow's Barbers, Today
XHB has created training programs as well as employment for over 20 barbers in Milton Keynes.
We have been working very closely with the local Council by leading various barber skills courses championed by the Conniburrow Community initiative to train the youth to acquire barbering skills with the aim of making them employable in the beauty industry.
We are still working tirelessly with the local community, Milton Keynes College and other local authorities to provide hands-on training for students and the youth through internship and apprentice program.

This program is something that XHB is passionate about; we leave no-one behind, regardless of your age, gender or disability.
- Our shop is equipped with disabled access, special home service for persons with disabilities and special needs.
- We have corperate accounts with hospitals and other institutions.
- We offer special discounts to Nurses and Doctors of the Milton Keynes University Hospital.
- Our services have no age boundaries; we have the patience and expertise in dealing with children as young as one or under and the older generations through our beauty to your door program.
